Map of Mexico and twenty-four inserted plates in volume I; map of the lakes of Mexico and one inserted plate in volume II. The appendix includes a list of Mexican Years from the foundation to the conquest of Mexico, compared with Christian years, a Mexican calendar, and more. With the neat bookplate of mining engineer Franklin Wheaton Smith, designed by Robert W. Hyde.
