Description:
1866 Masonic Ritual & Monitor Freemasonry Controversy Jahbulon Malcom DuncanMalcom Duncan's "Masonic Ritual and Monitor" is a rare 19th-century guide to freemasonry, focusing primarily on traditional degrees and ceremonies. This book; however, is rooted in controversy. Other masonic guides (such as Turnbull, Everett, and Denslow) state that Duncan uses incorrect oaths for degree candidates and is better suited for historical purposes rather than for 19th-century accuracy. Duncan also includes an explanation for the word 'Jahbulon', used in Royal Arch passwords.
