First edition and first full length Superman novel. With 10 full page illustrations - four of them in color- by famous Superman illustrator Joe Shuster. The Cover is in fair condition with shelf wear particularly along cover edges and wear and tears along spine. Light soiling and light age toning on a few pages. Pages predominantly in very good condition. Illustrations in excellent condition; however, the illustration on page 153 has separated from the binding.

This is a lovely copy of a very hard to find novel from 1876. Bound in pictorial cloth with gold lettering on the spine and cover, this book is in very good condition.

In the publisher's original red cloth covers with gilt titling at the backstrip. pp. 204 with illustrations by John Woodgate. A very nice and reasonably fresh copy with just minor creasing to the foot of the backstrip, the most minor of bumps at the corners. Free from owner names etc. Near Fine. The colourful dustjacket is unclipped and has an odd, small printing mark at the front flap. Slightly creased/rubbed at the edges, tiny surface hole to the laminate at the front panel in the gutter. VG. SIGNED (for the seller in person) with place and date of the signing event at the title page.

Green cloth with pictorial pastedown to front cover and gilt title to spine. Previous owner's inscription to front fly dated 1933. Colored plates. A nice clean tight copy without any other previous owners' names or defacements.

It measures approximately 9.25 inches long by 6.25 inches wide.The book is in good condition and the dust jacket is in fair condition. The binding is tight and the book is complete with no loose pages. The covers and edges do have some wear. The pages tanned slightly over the years, but are clean and free of writing.
