RAT was the most politically radical NY underground paper. This is the third issue after the takeover by the female staff. Contents include: page of 15 mock-bubblegum cards of "Outlaws of Amerika," articles on Patriot Party, Young Lords, Panther 21 (including lengthy reply of Panther defendants to the presiding judge), full-page poem by Marge Piercy, report by Rita Mae Brown on "Female Liberation" panel discussion in Boston ("divided between Marlene Dixon's endless rap on women's history and Roxanne Dunbar's endless rap on Roxanne Dunbar,") and 2-page Merton of the Movement comic strip by Bobby London satirizing male chauvinism in the counterculture.
