Truth is optional for our hero, Dorandol, the Worthy. His fare is illusion. From the white plume, fastened by a gaudy gold broach to his floppy red hat, over his scarlet and gold robes, down to his pointy toed red boots he is a showman. And what is his occupation? In his own words Dorandol tells us, I am a seller of dreams. I tell the suckers what they want to hear and they give me money. Dorandol travels, rapidly at times, ahead of the law to spin his deceptions in every alehouse, back alley and market place throughout Fairimar and the fabled lands beyond. His purse is full of other people s gold coins, and his mind filled with his own cleverness. All this abruptly ends when he is cursed with truth. This sends him on a wretched journey to find a wizard to set him free. Not so easy. The price is a quest, and it is hilarious. The wizard throws in a bumbling true heart apprentice to accompany Dorandol. They detest each other and the quest, but they have to go. From giant flying pussycats to trolls, dragons, ghost warriors, and malignant wizards, the pair have their wits and magic skills tested. Will they complete the quest and find the Dragon Tooth Horn?
