Knightstown, Indiana: The Bookmark, 1977. Very nice clean book bound in sturdy red buckram which is very clean and without bumps. No names or writing and pristine pages. Only fault is a light haze of foxing to top and side external edges. Contains "a complete history of Perry County: its townships, cities, villages, towns, schools, churches, industries statistics etc. : a history of its soldiers in the late war: portraits of early settlers and prominent men; miscellaneous matter; map of the county; biographies and histories of county families and index to both counties." NOTE: This book was originally published as part of The History of Fairfield and Perry Counties. Now it is Fairfield only, though the index covers Fairfield and Perry. Book measures 5-1/2"x8-1/2" and has 392 pages not including extensive index of 92 pages .. Reprint. Hard Cover. Very Good/No DJ, as Issued.
