Recently bound in attractive quarter red morocco over marbled-paper-covered boards, four raised bands, titles gilt on black onlays, other compartments decorated with a blind-stamped floral motif. 417 pp. plus 12 pp. of advertisements. This was noted Gautier scholar Rene Jasinski's copy, with his name and date inscribed on the title page ("R Jasinski | 25 Juillet 1924"). Edges moderately toned with occasional flaking. Light to moderate foxing throughout. Very good minus in a fine recent binding. Scarce.
