Showa 7. 1932.. Color pictographic bird's eye view map, image 14 1/4 x 18 3/4 inches on sheet 15 3/8 x 21 inches, folding as issued into pictorial paper covers 7 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches. Tiny tear into margin at upper left edge where the map is tipped onto the covers, otherwise fine condition. The Liaodong peninsula is shown with pictographs of its many resources. The city of Dalian is marked at the lower left of the map. The text on the back is in Japanese, complete with black and white photo illustrations of the industrial and agricultural resources of this important strategic country newly under a puppet regime. .
