An extensive collection of stories and information about families, dignitaries, and eminent inhabitants of Scotland. Appears that there may be some interesting genealogy. Green cloth binding with blindstamped Celtic cross design and borders on front and back covers and gilt titles and borders on spine, gilt top edge. Some edge wear to cover, spotting and scuffs, spine darkened but gilt still mostly bright, corners and spine ends bumped and frayed, hinges weak and showing webbing, former owner's name "Charles G. Kerr, May 5th, 1890" on front fixed end paper, spotting of end papers which are tanned, interior pages lightly tanned, a few pages loosened from binding but partly attached, binding shaken.
