Heavy wear to cover with scuffs, scratches, spotting and remains of something stuck to top of front cover, bottom leading corner of front cover heavily chipped and frayed, other corners and spine ends bumped, bookseller's sticker "Henry Malkan, 18 Broadway, New York" on front fixed end paper, pencil notation on front free end paper, former owner's name "May Maddux, May, 1908" on front free end paper, interior pages bright, binding mostly tight except for split at last page of index, all pages attached.
