Topstain a bit dulled, spine ends gently nudged, tiny stain to right edge of front endpaper, with two tiny indentations to lower rear cover; cloth and text are uniformly clean throughout; hinges sound; Very Good+. In the First Issue dustjacket, priced $3.00, with Gone With The Wind listed in the second column of Macmillan Spring Novels on the rear panel; small losses to corners and base of spine, with deeper chips at upper left corner of front panel and crown (none affecting lettering); edgewear, with a series of tears ranging from 1/2" to 2" and some attendant creasing; Very Good - an honest copy, entirely free of restoration.
