Recent endpapers (handmade paper). 6 preliminary leaves bound before title page for: "The Booke Of Common Prayer...Printed by Bonham Norton and John Bill...MDCXXIX. [ 1629 ] . The prayer book is complete ending with colophon. Followed by "The Genealogies..." - Complete. Bound with: "A Decription of Canaan..." - Double-page map. Followed by; 'The First Booke Of Moses, Called Genesis' (General title-page absent). The Old Testament is complete ending on Ccc 4b.; followed by the Apocrypha ending on Ooo 8b.; New Testament begins with an engraved title (dated 1629). New Testament ends on Gggg 2a.; bound with: "The Booke Of Psalmes... Imprinted for I. L. for the Company of Stationers, 1636." - Complete, ending with colophon. Clear Roman Letter text in double columns throughout. All pages with good margins, just a light tide mark to about a third of the New Testament. A well preserved 17th century bible.
