An oblong quarto measuring 11" tall by 14" deep unpaginated but containing 44 full color plates. Signed by both the artist and the author of the text and this copy is numbered 2,154 out of only 2,500 copies printed.

This is a very large volume with excellent plates of U.S. dueling pistols. It is marked number 596 of an edition of 2500 copies, 2375 for sale. It is also inscribed by both authors, as shown. The dust jacket is intact and not price clipped or otherwise altered. The volume is in very good condition with only one issue: there is a book plate that has slightly discolored the facing page, as shown. All the interior is in excellent shape, with only slight rippling and wear to the dust jacket corners. I have endeavored to show all the faults, as well as the beauty of the plates.
