A bit of light foxing along the top and fore-edges, very light spotting to the front panel's top-edge, mild offsetting at the endsheets. And in an unsually crisp, Near Fine example of the pictorial dustjacket. Text (in English) followed by 181 plates (with their captions in English, German, French and Italian). Also includes a sturdy, well-preserved example of the publisher's printed card slipcase, which has protected both the book and dustjacket beautifully. Introduction by Wilhelm Pinder.
