London: Printed for Thomas Parkhurst. Fair with no dust jacket. 1696. Hardcover. Some knocks to page edges. Corners of several leaves creased and dog-eared. 1" missing to leather at tail of spine. A 1 1/2" piece of leather at head of spine has been detached and glued on to the back of the book. 2 1/2" split to leather at head of rear joint. 1" loss of leather at edge of lower corner of rear board. Smaller losses at leather at other corners. Lacking endpapers. The pastedown endpapers are missing. Moderate foxing. Some wormholes to margins, not affecting text. A couple of leaves with 1/2" tears and chips to margins.; [viii],1-256 pages. Contemporary full calf binding. Page dimensions: 157 x 94mm. Subtitled: "Wherein all the Answers in the Assemblies Catechism are taken abroad in Under-Questions and Answer, the Truths explained, and proved by Reason and Scripture; several Cases of Conscience Resolved; some chief Controverses in Religion stated, with Arguments against divers Errors: Useful to be read in private Families, after Examination in the Catechism it self; for the more clear and thorough understanding of what is therein Learned."; 8vo .
