A very good copy in an attractive contemporary leather binding. Half black morocco. Spine with raised bands, each with gilt decoration. Compartments double ruled and lettered in gilt. Red title label, ruled and lettered in gilt. Morocco grained cloth on boards. Coated yellow endpapers. All edges gilt. A lovely copy.:

Stanfield.Finely bound in nineteenth century half green calf. Spine with raised bands. Compartments with rules and jagged lines and floral centre pieces, all in gilt. Red title label, gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Plain brown endpapers with a small book label of Mills Bookshop of London to the rear paste down endpaper. Some minor rubbing to binding and edges a bit bumped but overall a very good copy.

Henry Frowde. London. 1904. Frontispiece portrait. Contemporary binding of 1/4 vellum with gilt roses and branches along the spine length. Tan morocco title label with gilt, lettering, ruling and leaves. Smaller label has "Oxford" within gilt ruling. Beige cloth on boards. Top edge gilt. Previous owners five line inscription from1919, written neatly in ink on front free endpaper. .A very good, bright copy.

Tree calf leather with gilt decorations to the covers, gilt lettering and raised bands on the spine. All edges art-gilt, marbled endpapers, frontispiece, illustrations, notes, indices, ribbon marker. The covers are lightly splayed, the front hinge is starting, and there is a previous bookseller's discreet sticker on the rear endpaper.
