Charles Gavan "Chubby" Power, (1888 - 1968) was a Canadian politician and ice hockey player. He first campaigned in 1908, became an M.P. in 1917, and has been a cabinet minister and senator. In these memoirs, he surveys his party and Parliament through two world wars, the depression, prosperity, and the transition to the welfare state.

SIGNED on the ffep by Lister Sinclair, CBC broadcaster and playwright. Bound in black cloth with gilt titles and red accents on the spine. Lightly worn around the edges. Red dustjacket in very good condition with white titles. Faded on the spine, worn around the edges with small tears. Some small puncture holes on the back of the spine. NF/VG. Signed. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good.
