Rebound in full modern calf, gilt lettering and date to spine between raised bands, double rules and flower in each corner in blind to covers, marbled edges, old endpapers. Pale age-browning to margins, slight loss to the inner margin of frontispiece, some strengthening to the inner margins of first few pages with archival tape, occasional old ink splash, mostly to margins, endpapers age-browned with old ink names and scribble, occasional small neat repair, mostly to margins, 1 plate has small closed tear neatly repaired, no loss of image, 1 corner tip neatly repaired, small stain to many lower corners, affecting only the tips with occasional tiny chips, occasional small brown fox spot, covers slightly sprung, otherwise a very good copy.
