The illustrations are in a decidedly retrograde, "New Masses" style, some quite effective, others somewhat crude. We find no reference to this artist in any other published work of the period. Uncommon; none others in trade; 15 institutional holdings per OCLC. Square octavo (8"). Illustrated laminated boards; 3 p.l., [114]pp; illus. Brief ink inscription to front endpaper (non-authorial); covers lightly rubbed and soiled; small loss to paper covering at crown of spine, else just light external wear; Very Good.
