Hardbound, book is listed as fair because the cover is a mess--burned, rippled from the water to put out the fire I suppose, but the insides are very good, just some rippling and a little damp staining of page edges. It is a limited edition number 785 of 1500 signed by the illustrator. It is a novel by a young black man In France where supposedly blacks were just like anyone, but it shows his hatred of whites (they smell) and of how they treated natives. Worth buying for the sketches on nearly every page and for the 6 full color full page illustrations. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 118 pages; Signed by Illustrator .
