Black and white head and tail-piece illustrations, decorative endpapers, 738 pages + advertisement section with black and white illustrations, 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches, cloth-covered boards with gilt lettered embossed pictorial spine (hardbound). Good condition: light soiling to cloth and page edges, spine lightly sunned, a bit of cockling to front cover cloth at lower fore edge corner, 1 1/2 inch edge tear and previous owner name to verso of front free endpaper, small "compliments" stamp to half-title, otherwise clean and tight.
