Black cloth over thin and flexible boards with gilt lettering on the spine and the front. Patterned gilt end papers. All text block edges are stained red with rounded corners as issued. Blue book mark ribbon set into the headband of each. Volume I has a lengthy preface by Fr. Nicolaus Concetti. Both volumes have monthly indices at the back. Volume I has a 4 cm tear at the top of the front end paper hinge. Volume II has a vertical crease in the front cover. The text pages of both volumes show light browning or tanning to the page margins. Otherwise the books are in a very good conrition with clean interiors and sound bindings. Uncommon. .
