Contemporary home-made linen protector fitted over the boards and spine. This protector has done a remarkable job in protecting the leather and boards. Title and previous owners name stenciled on the linen. The linen was stitched to itself with string. This string has transferred marks to the end pages opposite. Light foxing found throughout. Occasional wear to pages. A very good copy secure in contemporary calf.
