A RARE first edition copy of this investigation into the 'suicide' of the first American Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal. Simpson's book, only the second on this 'unsolved mystery' of Forrestal's death, was the first to raise serious doubts about the official version (it was consequently widely ignored in the United States on publication). This copy is in decent condition. The dustjacket has a clear cellophane protective cover. The dj itself has some wear about the edges, some marks and scuffing. It is sure and assured.
