A classic work on the British Special Operations Executive with interesting annotations from a contemporary, critical reader, who has crossed out the first word of the half title and replaced it to read "'Propagand' of the Second World War". The first edition, which was the subject of a number of libel suits, two of which were successful. annotated by a critical reader who had apparently himself published a clarification of De Benouville's work on the same subject; news clippings and notes relating to the book and its subject matter loosely inserted.
