This is an ex-library reading copy of the once-great Ives' 1948 autobiography, which reads well, and all the better for its pre-1952 HUAC hearings release date, in which Ives spilled the beans on some of his progressive colleagues.  Still, it's a cheap reading copy of the lively story of a very talented musician of bygone days.

This is an amazingly unworn and collectible copy of the 1964 skeptical writer's treatment of the assassination and the early denial approaches to the investigation.  Some definite clunkers in here, but overall a disturbing, sensational look into the assassination of American President John F. Kennedy in 1963.  Filled with information, facts, and theories which the official Warren Commission 'rushed to judgment' in rejecting or ignoring. This is one of the first ones that openly began the doubt.

All in all, this is a very good, TRUE FIRST EDITION COPY, IN THE JACKET, of an unusual Rutledge coming of age story.  Used, with nicked jacket, but not grievously injured, and able to be appreciated for what it is---the work of the South Carolina's Poet Laureate, Archibald Rutledge.

This is a fun collectible cover, but some idiot (not me) priced this little paperback at "5 cents" many eons ago, which seriously detracts from its market value.  Hence, it is priced at half what a competitive price might be, a very good value indeed.

This is an excellent, signed copy for the NC State Wolfpack fan. It was produced while the mist of glory still hovered over campus after their Basketball National Championship and undefeated years. INSCRIBED by author Beezley to Sam Homewood, thanking the State fan for his help in the book's production. A true rarity.
