Susan Sales Harkins is an independent consultant with an expertise in Access. SQL: Access to SQL Server, her latest book by APress, was released in January 2002. Mike Gunderloy is an independent developer and author who has been working with computers for 25 years. Hes been using databases since the release of PC-File for DOS, and has been writing and speaking about Microsoft Access every since version 1.1 was released in 1993. Over the last decade hes spoken about Access at conferences, written Access courseware, and contributed numerous articles about Access and other database topics to magazines including Smart Access, Access-VB-SQL Advisor, and Microsoft Office Solutions. Hes worked closely with the Access product team in that time, and has contributed code to several versions as a member of the development team.

Mike has written or contributed to more than twenty books on Access and other database topics. Hes currently the editor of the monthly Access Developers News as well as Pinnacle Publishings Hardcore Web Services newsletter.
