The Author: David M. Callejo-Prez received his Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction from Florida International University. He specializes in the study of identity formation of marginalized groups in the United States in the face of the overwhelming American culture. He is currently working on a book about the politics of becoming a Cuban-American in the exile of Miami.
