Audrey Thomas McCluskey is Associate Professor of Afro-American Studies and Director of the Black Film Center/Archive at Indiana University. She is editor of Imaging Blackness: Race and Racial Representation in Film Poster Art (IUP, 2006) and co-editor (with Elaine M. Smith) of Mary McLeod Bethune: Building a Better World (IUP, 2001).
