About the author

Born in Kent, England in 1940, Robert Hobson is the son of a late Lieutenant Commander. Some twenty years ago Hobson discovered secret documentation relating to his late-father's wartime experiences and his involvement with the secret weapon known as the human torpedo. Today the Underwater Heritage Trust, founded by Hobson serves to preserve the history of the brave men operating the human torpedoes.
