Brett Lashua is Senior Lecturer in the Carnegie Faculty of Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, and an Honorary Research Fellow with the Institute of Popular Music at the University of Liverpool, UK.
Karl Spracklen is Professor of Leisure Studies in the Carnegie Faculty of Leeds Metropolitan University, UK. He is Principal Editor of the journal "Metal Music Studies," and Secretary of the International Society for Metal Music Studies. His publications include The Meaning and Purpose of Leisure, Constructing Leisure: Historical and Philosophical Debates, and Whiteness and Leisure. Stephen Wagg is Professor of Sport and Society in the Carnegie Faculty of Leeds Metropolitan University, UK. His latest books are: The New Politics of Leisure and Pleasure (edited), The Palgrave Handbook of Olympic Studies (edited), Thatcher's Grandchildren? Politics and Childhood in the Twenty First Century (edited) and Leisure Studies: Principles and Practice (co-authored).
