Pictures sell books

The single most effective thing you can do to increase your sales on Biblio is free.

It's free, and it doesn't have to be difficult. If you don't have pictures of your books already, start slowly with a few books at a time. Select the most interesting books in your inventory and take digital pictures of those books. If you already have pictures of all of your books, make sure that Biblio has those images online.

Biblio offers sellers a number of easy options for adding images

Aspect ratio is the width of the image divided by the height of the image: x/y

You can choose the method for adding inventory that best fits your business: Ideally, the image that you are sending is 600 pixels wide by 800 pixels high, but Biblio can accept any image from you as long as it:
Biblio's systems will automatically make copies of your images in several sizes to display in various places on the site. A full sized, zoom-able copy of your book image will be stored as long as the image you have uploaded to us is at least 600 pixels wide.

What images do for you

Customers want to see a book before they buy it. The more expensive the book, the more true that statement is. Adding images helps your customers' confidence level in buying your book online. Additionally, photos add options for promoting your books on Biblio.
If you want to crop, resize, or make any other adjustments to your images, free photo editing software is readily available for both Mac and PC, but in most cases, you don't need to change anything. Just take the picture with a digital camera or phone and upload it to Biblio using one of the options mentioned above.
