AmongUS presents readings from individuals whose intercultural experiences give insights on how to achieve a fair multicultural society where cultural identities are celebrated and maintained. The essays provide a rich source of materials to teach a broad array of interpersonal, sociological, and psychological concepts that apply to educational, business, and cultural settings. The authors have arranged the book around four themes: Identity, Negotiating Intercultural Competence, Racism and Prejudice, and Belonging to Multiple Cultures.
