Boy Meets Boy Paperback - 1999

As he writes this biographical note, Lawrence Schimel is the author or editor of twenty-seven books, and happens to also be twenty-seven years old. As he commented in a recent interview, he neither smokes nor drinks although he does have his vices-namely boys and a sweet tooth; presumably, if he had different vices, he would have published fewer books.
He is the author of the short story collections T"he Drag Queen of Elfland" and "His Tongue" and the editor of numerous anthologies, including "The Mammoth Book of Gay Erotica, PoMoSexuals, Challenging Assumptions About Gender and Sexuality" (with Carol Queen; lambda Literary Award winner), S"witch Hitters: Lesbians Write Gay Male Erotica and Gay Men Write Lesbian Erotica" (with Carol Queen), "Two Hearts Desire: Gay Couples on Their Love "(with Michael Lassell), "Food for Life" and "Other Dish," and "Kosher Meat." His stories, essays, and poetry have been included in more than 150 anthologies, among others: "Best Gay Erotica 1997 "and "1998, The Mammoth Book of Gay Short Stories, Gay Love Poetry, The Mammoth Book of Fairy Tales, The Random House Book of Science Fiction Stories, " and "The Random House Treasury of Light Verse." He has also contributed to numerous periodicals, from "The Saturday Evening Post "to "Physics Today" to "Gay Scotland." His writings have been published abroad in Catalan, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish translations.
He currently divides his time between his native New York City and Madrid.
