London: The Bodley Head, 1976. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is a first printing of the first edition, with the "First published 1976" statement on the verso of the title page. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a discrete bookseller's stamp in the bottom corner of the front fixed end paper, but no other marks or wear. The green covers are fresh, with a bit of light wear to the corners and shallow bumps at the top and bottom of the spine. The gilt spine lettering is still shiny. The dust jacket is not corner clipped, and is also in very good condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.The attached scan should give a better idea of condition.
