Description:
John D. Cushing (Ed) Laws of the Province of Maryland Wlimington Delaware: Michael Glazier 1978. Would it were the 1718 original, but it ain't. It is a facsimile of the 1718 publication, prelims plus 220 pages Book is like new in fawn-colored cloth, but on the top edges are a few coffee spots. I show the scan. They are not on the pages.
The sheer arrogance of the English kings and queens never ceases to amaze me. Charles 1 granted Lord Baltimore, an Irish peer a vast stretch of country owned by and occupied by a race of people foreign to him. And had the territory named after his queen. Nevertheless, this book is seldom offered for sale. It must exist in quantity, but I suppose nobody wants to sell their copy.
