Demetra Vaka, later Mrs. Brown (1877-1946), was a Greek Ottoman who emigrated to the United States and married Kenneth Brown. She worked as a journalist and was a popular author, writing at the beginning of the twentieth-century as Demetra Brown and Mrs. Kenneth Brown.
