The Library of the Republic of Poland, founded in the 18th century by the Załuski brothers, was one of the largest and most important European libraries. Its collections were dispersed during the partitions. This project is an attempt to reconstruct the library manuscript collection. Prefatory materials in English, Polish and Russian include "The Revival: International project for the reconstruction of Załuski Library Manuscripts" by Olga Bleskina and "The Załuski family and their library" by Krzysztof Kossarzecki. The register of manuscripts which now belong to the National Library of Russia is followed by detailed indexes and plates with illustrations.
