About This Item
London: Headline, (2001). First edition, first printing. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is slightly sunned at the spine with some passive surface marks also present. It has not been price clipped. The boards have some unfortunate but slight bumps at the bottom and right-hand edge. The text blocks are clean and the internals are free from owners ink. The author's signature is flat signed to the full title page. This is a near fine copy.
No debate about the single most memorable achievement in English sport will end in unanimity, but all such arguments must start with Geoff Hurst's hat-trick in the 1966 World Cup final.
