1987. Hardcover. fine. 1st edition. 145pp. Oblong octavo. Illustrated with B/W and coloured photos. Pictorial endpapers. Original red cloth with gilt decoration on front cover and gilt lettering on spine in dust jacket. Embossed library stamp on title. fine A history of the No. 442 Squardron RCAF, dating back to the Aleutain campaign in 1942. The 442 is currently based at CFB Comox on Vancouver Island, they are responsible for Search and Rescue coverage for the Canadian Pacific. Signed by both authors (Capt. MacDonald and Capt. Strocel). Over 30 signatures throughout by various officers and pilots (identifiable by the list in rear) next to photographs of aircraft, aircrew or nominal roll. Extremely uncommon and the signatures make it a true 'one of a kind'. 1987
