A strange reunion takes place one night in an old brownstone at 52 West 52nd street in Manhattan. The people gathered there have come to pay homage to the old woman who was once their mentor and protector. This, however, is a surface reason. Basically, the reunion is for each of them a journey into self, the hidden, lost self that has nearly disappeared during their flight into fame .
