London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1885. First edition, 1885. Blue cloth printed in gilt and blue, frontis engraving and an additional plate by Edward Whymper, another by Percy Macquoid. Fair to good condition with considerable edgewear and chipping to spine ends, hinges internally cracked but secure, text block sound but not tight (no loosened pages), short closed tear along inner margin of one page, pages clean with a decorative name stamp on the title page, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
