Philadelphia: The Times Publishing Company, 1892. Third edition. Hardcover. Good. Octavo. [1], 462 pages. Frontispiece photograph of Lincoln. Illustrated. Light blue cloth hardcover with gilt stamped silhouette of Lincoln and title on the front cover. Gilt stamped title on the spine. Gilt top edge and untrimmed foredge and bottom edge. Light edge wear to cloth. 1909 inscription by author to " Mrs. Clark Howell Jr. With Affectionate regards A K McClure March 22, 1909." Binding has been restored at one point by the National Library Company with job repair slip after the title page. End sheets are newer and the hinges are now in very good condition.
