Pearock, inscribed by the author on endpaper. . 8vo [23 x 15 cm]; xi, 344 pp, 3 maps on one large folding sheet (long tear), 37 illustrations including full-page from drwgs by J. L. Kipling, index. . The author describes the people, traditions, legends and country including Sind, lower Indus, Bilochistan, Biloches, Tochi Valley, Pathan, Kohat, Kabul, Peshawur, Swat, Panjkora, Bajawar, etc, with descriptions on tribal rivalries, many of which still exist today.
