An appreciation of Marilyn Monroe up to "Bus Stop." with quotes from her and a number of friends and co-workers. Signed on flyleaf by author with a dedication to Nunnally Johnson ( the screenwriter who worked with Marilyn on "How to Marry a Millionaire," and "We're Not Married", and wrote projects for her that she ultimately never made, such as "How to Be Very, Very Popular, and "Something's Got to Give") dedication reads, "Dear Nunnally, Once more I give you my gratitude for a helping hand. Pete" Johnson was quoted extensively in the book. Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Black boards are bumped at corners, spine. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Dedication By Author. First Edition.
