NY: Farrar, Straus and Young, 1952. Bound in red cloth, stamped in gold sans dust jacket. The highlight of this book is that it has a Typed Letter Signed tipped in to the front pastedown. Stationery has the Governor of Illinois letterhead - dated July 18, 1952. . He states that is is "only running for re-election for governor". Apparently he was soon to change his mind -- running for President later in the year. . Typed Letter Signed. Early Reprint. Hard Cover. Very Good +/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
