Quarter bound orange morocco leather to spine and corners and light orange cloth to boards. Raised banding, gilt lettering and embossed decorations to spine and edges. Top page edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. In excellent near fine condition. Stunning fine leather binding. A couple of very minor handling marks to corner/edges of boards else lovely clean smart cover. No penned inscriptions or marks. Inside pages all very clean and tight throughout. Else an excellent clean and tight copy. 415pp. Illustrated with 13 full-page B&W plates including frontis.
