Illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Thirteen short stories, from the early 1950s or even late 1940s, in which science-fiction authors peer into the future. Authors include Ray Bradbury, Ward Moore, A. E. van Vogt and Leigh Brackett. Softening and a little rubbing of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners. Sunning to the back strip with light tanning and foxing of the text block edges; age toning and faint foxing of the pages. Offset tanning and a few foxing spots to the end pages. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Chipping of the top dustwrapper corners, back strip edges and lower right-hand corner of the front panel. Minor creasing of the dustwrapper edges with sunning to the dustwrapper Â– most particularly noted to the rear panel. There is 1/2 inch tear to the top left hand corner of the front panel.
