Clean pages except for a small brown spot affecting the right edges of about fifteen leaves and two pen marks in the margin of p.102. The hard cover shows some softening at bottom free corners and at spine ends, and the jacket shows some edgewear and crimping at corners and spine ends with a small peel at the spine head, otherwise sound. 454pp. incl. index.
