Dust jacket is light coloured so has some age toning and grubbiness. The first popularly written history of surrealism in art and literature which has appeared in Great Britain when it was published. Professor Fowlie deals in this book with the artists: Rimbaud, Lautréamont, Breton, Apollinaire, Cocteau, Eluard, Mallarmé, and Picasso. Previous owner's name and stamp to FFEP. Overall good copy. 203 pages. 220 x 150 mm (8¾ x 6 inches).
